Washing mangoes, peeling, removing seed, slicing, dicing and removing moisture under controlled conditions of temperature, humidity and airflow, to the extent that the product is preserved and packed in poly bags.

Dried mango fruits have characteristic yellow colour, flavour (Species specific. without off flavour) and taste (Species specific .without off odour) and possess and maintain the product's essential texture, physical, chemical, organoleptic, and nutritional characteristics of the fruit(s).

Extraneous matter

Free from extraneous matter including soil, dirt, twigs, bits of wood and loose stalks, peel (where applicable), stems, calyx, peduncle and leaves or any other foreign matter.

Moulds, insects etc.

Free from living insects, mites or other parasites and moulds, and practically free from dead insects, insect fragments and rodent contamination visible to the naked eye.
